This exhibition is the second Open exhibition to be held at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery. Muriel, amongst other artists from the West Midlands, will be showing work from 6th March to 2nd May. Her image belongs to her new project entitled “á la dérive”.

Muriel was commissioned to photograph and produce the cover of Maraca2’s debut CD album just before the group went on tour in the USA.

Muriel carried out the photographic documentation of The Devil & the 3 Golden Hairs, an outdoor performance devised by the Blue Box Youth Theatre on 17th July at the Grange Nature Reserve, Snibston Country Park, Coalville. Muriel was commissioned by Mantle Arts to document Coalville Comes Alive, a free festival of street arts which took place in Coalville Town Centre on 30th May 2009.
Coalville Comes Alive was programmed by a group of local young people supported by Mantle Arts. The festival was part of the Find Your Talent Leicestershire Pathfinder Scheme.

This showcase of works and projects by Mantle Arts recent work was held at the LCB Depot, Rutland Street, Leicester, LE1 1RE, this February.
The exhibition featured Muriel’s images on Laura Ellen Bacon’s project ‘Sea Nymph’ Entangled, Hannah Lobley’s Spell it out, Alison Garner’s Visura Continuum and Carrie-Ann Black’s project Charming the City.

Muriel has now completed two self-initiated narrative projects, Le Coup de Foudre and Joe le Pianiste. The latter can be seen here in the Portfolio section.
The exhibition for the project entitled Imagine a City, undertaken by Mantle Arts, Leicester, took place on Monday July 21st at 6.30 pm at LCB Depot Gallery, Rutland Street, Leicester. Muriel Bonnet’s photographic documentation of the artwork was exhibited there and published in a catalogue.
